Reconstruction and Redirection: Imagining a Post-Crisis World

 

Sciences Pistes Model UN (SPMUN) returned for its third iteration, held this year in Menton from the 11th to 13th of November!

 

SPMUN is a collaboration Model UN conference of all seven Sciences Po campuses, run by Sciences Po students, for Sciences Po students. Applications for all of SPMUN's conferences will open 9 September for chairs and 19 September for delegates, closing 9 October for the former and 26 October for the latter.

 

SPMUN is open to participation by any undergraduate or graduate student of any of the seven campuses of Sciences Po Paris.

Meet your SPMUN Advisors!


Joudi Arafa

Joudi Arafa is a SciencesPo second year student at the Menton Campus. Of Egyptian nationality, but grew up in the United Arab Emirates, her interests include political ideologies, philosophy, and constitutional law. Apart from academia she has a passion for cosmetology, makeup and world cultures. She is looking forward to working with the MEDMUN team in the communications and logistics domain. Organizing one-of-a-kind events and conferences for future delegates and chairs, to make every MUN a memorable experience on our beloved Menton campus.

 

 

 


Veronica Marcone

Veronica is a junior at American University in Washington DC majoring in International Studies with a focus on conflict resolution and the MENA region. She is originally from Rome, Italy where she pursued Italian secondary education. She is currently spending one semester abroad as an exchange student at Sciences Po at their Middle Eastern focused campus in Menton, France. Her interests include global security, conflict resolution, diplomacy and the MENA region. She was involved in Model UN ever since high school being a delegate for Italian MUN and subsequently becoming a staffer in the organization United Network EU.  Subsequently she joined her university’s renowned MUN club AMERIMUNC before joining MEDMUN as an SPMUN advisor.
